Our LocationThe former Henderson Universalist Church now houses the Henderson Historical Society and Museum. Located at the junction of County Route 72 and Penney Road, it is open from May thru September.

Guide BoatsHenderson Harbor Guide Boats - donated by the Peters, Stevens and Tyler families who built and operated them. The Society is privileged to have their photo collections and guiding journals, which depict the Golden Years of Guiding.

The Reading CornerAn area set aside for your comfort while you are researching material. The Society has an extensive collection of period maps of Jefferson County

The School WallThe Historical Society is the repository for the former Henderson Central School.   Memorabilia of class photos, awards, yearbooks, etc, are centered around the oil painting of Henderson's first schoolhouse. Painted by NY State muralist and native son, Frank Springsteen.

The Town Records CornerThe museum houses early town records of land assessments as well as town census records are available on microfiche.
